FAQs
What is medical aesthetics and what services do you offer?
Answer: Medical aesthetics refers to cosmetic procedures performed by qualified health care providers to enhance one's appearance. At The Beauty Merchant, we offer various services, such as Botox injections, anti-wrinkle and gummy smile treatments, lip flips and more.
Is it safe to undergo medical aesthetic treatments?
Answer: Yes, our clinic adheres to strict safety protocols and our health care providers are highly trained and experienced in performing medical aesthetic procedures. We use FDA-approved products and modern equipment to ensure the safety and comfort of our patients.
What can I expect during my initial consultation?
Answer: During your initial consultation, our health care providers and her director will assess your concerns, discuss your desired outcomes, and review your medical history. They will then recommend appropriate treatment options, explain the procedure in detail, and address any questions or concerns you may have.
Are the results of medical aesthetic treatments permanent?
Answer: The longevity of results varies depending on the treatment. For example, neurotoxin injections typically last 3-4 months, while lip flips last 6-8 weeks and excessive sweating treatments can last 6 - 8 months. Our professionals will discuss the expected duration of results during your consultation and provide recommendations for maintenance treatments if needed.
Is there any downtime after Botox or neurotoxin treatments?
Answer: One of the benefits of Botox and neurotoxin treatments is that they typically have minimal to no downtime. Most patients are able to resume their normal activities immediately after the treatment. However, it's important to follow post-treatment instructions provided by our professionals, which may include avoiding strenuous exercise, excessive heat exposure, or massaging the treated area for a certain period of time to optimize results and minimize any potential risks.
Note: The downtime of Botox and neurotoxin treatments may vary depending on the individual patient and the specific treatment areas. It's always best to consult with a qualified professional and follow their post-treatment instructions for the best results.
